UK healthtech pioneer my mhealth appoints Hard Numbers as PR agency partner

New Client

Performance-driven marketing and communications consultancy, Hard Numbers, has today announced that the NHS-approveddigital therapeutics healthtech company my mhealth has selected it as its agency partner in the UK.

my mhealth provides evidence-based digital platforms and applications which offer patients comprehensive education, rehabilitation, and self-management for over 70% of long-term conditions including COPD, asthma, diabetes, heart disease and COVID-19.

Each app, including myCOPD, myAsthma, myDiabetes and myHeart, has been developed with clinical experts in their field to provide patients with the knowledge and support to manage their conditions. The apps are evidence-based, CE marked and approved by the NHS. These self-management apps offer a unique, customised, and personalised experience for patients and they can be accessed and used on almost any device, from smartphones to smart TV’s.

Still in its first year since launch, Hard Numbers will be responsible for raising my mhealth’s profile in the UK via PR and digital campaigns, as well as supporting its international growth with demand generation and account-based marketing activities.

Darryl Sparey and Paul Stollery launched Hard Numbers in June 2020. This new client continues the fast-paced growth for the business, which has seen a very strong level of demand for its results-driven approach to marketing and communications. The hire of Hard Numbers by my mhealth follows a competitive pitch, and the teams have already begun working together.

Darryl Sparey, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Hard Numbers, commented:

“We are absolutely delighted to start working with my mhealth. In the wake of COVID-19, we believe that the healthtech sector, and particularly those businesses that offer dispersed healthcare technology, will be set for explosive future growth. In addition to boasting a first-rate leadership team combining both experienced healthcare professionals and some of the best talent from the private sector, my mhealth has a significant competitive advantage – it has reimbursement from the NHS for its apps already, and a strong future pipeline of product releases. We believe that they represent a leading UK healthtech business which is making life-changing improvements to patients needing treatment now, and we’re honoured to be working with them”

Simon Bourne, Chief Operating Officer of my mhealth, added:

“After having had discussions with a number of other potential agencies, we knew Hard Numbers were the right partner for us. The energy and commitment they demonstrated to achieving measurable results, as well as their approach to ensuring that they are delivered as promised, was compelling.  Creating awareness for the many exciting plans and projects that lie ahead for us in the coming weeks and months requires a strategic approach, impactful coverage and tactical digital guidance. We have found that within the Hard Numbers team and we are excited to hit the ground running.”
